My first Restoration

This work with the name "Catalpa" what stands for a breadleafed tree, and what is also the name of the sports and fitnessclub in Lochristi (Belgium) is my first commissoned restoration. At first it was almost invisible because of the green all around. I made this work in 1993.

All the rust will be taken off by specialists who clean it up with dry ice. Afterwords we will ship it to another firm who will put it in a huge bath filled with sink.

This is galvanized then. Instead of the now rusty color, what is also perfect but not good for the life of this work, for it is not corten steel, the color will be lightgray.

The last will be done beginning july, the park will have a new shape during the summer. Pictures from this later.

Sandblasting

The last work for me was to clean the bottom and to put it in a bath filled with zinc.It's galvanised.
